He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Wiebe and Nettie Wiebe (Rempel); and his siblings, Sadie, Irvin, Mary, Allan and Gordon.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Wiebe (Dyck); his children, Gina Sangster (Don), Richard Wiebe (Lynn), Brian Wiebe (Wendy) and Barbara Wiebe (Bob); his siblings, Betty, Anne and Peter; his grandchildren, Noel Brodeur, Brianna, Bethany, Benjamin, Kaitlyn, Jared Wiebe, Matthew and Dylan Flatt; and his great grandchild Aiden Flatt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
