He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Elizabeth Frances McDonald. He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret, Marjorie, Helen, Archibald, Elva and Clayton; his wife Barbara McDonald of Mary's Cathedral; and his children, Joel McDonald (Pamela), Matthew McDonald (Jennifer), Dana Stokes (Daniel) and Zachary McDonald. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CancerCare Manitoba, St. Paul's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Starbuck or St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church.
