We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2025, at the age of 84, Gerardo Rendina (Winnipeg, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Gerardo's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Gerardo's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Magro and Enzo Rendina. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Antonio (Liz), Alessia and Juliana; his brother Mike; his siblings-in-law, Lizabetta Magro, Maria Rendina and Enzo Magro (Joan); his spouse Gerardina Magro (Dina); and his sibling Felice Magro. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
An entombment was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at the Assumption Cemetery (3990 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K1W3). A Mass was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Saint John the Xxiii Roman Catholic Church (3390 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K0Z3).
