She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Thielmann and Katharina Thielmann (Wiebe); her sisters, Edith and Katie; and her brother-in-law William Buhler.

She is survived by: her siblings, Henry (Betsy), Annemary, Ernie (Laura) and Margaret; and her brother-in-law John Czwarno. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
