It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Francis Higgins in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Colleen Mary West; his great grandchild Grayson Young; his parents, Frederick Higgins and Mary Higgins; and his brother Wayne Higgins.

He is survived by: his daughters, Briana West (Bailey), Mary Robinson (Rob) of Bristols Hope, Cara West (Nathan) of Winnipeg, Kayla West (Dustin) and Trina West (William); his grandchildren, Brandon, Brady, Christopher, Amber, Jonathan, Isabella, Katalina, Sophia, Serenity, Jordan, Justine, Aleah, Isaiah, Jealousy, Alivia and Kevin; his great grandchildren, Riley, Beau, Andi-Jane, Skylar, Kolt and Indi-June; and his siblings, Linda Pardy (Herbert), Eileen Higgins, Rose Penny (Dennis), Beverley Penny (Albert), Mary Higgins-Osmond (Owen), James Higgins (Sami) and Wilson Higgins (Linda).
