He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kent and Priscilla Kent; his daughters, Francine and Veronica Kent; and his siblings, Linda, Barbara, Brenda, Fred and Andrew.
He is survived by: his sons, Nigel, Jesse and James Kent; and his sister Edna Johnston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
