He is survived by: his wife Gail (Takeuchi); his children, Jeremy (Gina) and Kayley; his grandchildren, Aiden and Amelia; his siblings, Darlene (Randy), Vera and Bruce (Regina); his mother-in-law Sally Takeuchi; his siblings-in-law, Randy (Della), Karen, Susan and Barb (Lou); and his uncle Ben Howell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery (4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K1W3).
