He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret June Carr-Lawton and Victor Abraham Loewen. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Loewen (Heller) of Winnipeg; his sister Lenore Loewen Underhill; and his brother-in-law Arthur Underhill of Shawnigan Lake, BC. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Memorials can be made to a trust being set up in Greg's name that will support Canadian writers.
