He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Heinrichs and Aganete Heinrichs; his parents-in-law, Jacob and Agathe Pries; and his grandson Timothy Heinrichs.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Heinrichs; his children, Maria Esau (Leonard), Helmut Heinrichs (Valerie), Erwin Heinrichs (Judy) and Ann Bergen (Les); his grandchildren, Heidi (Matt), Chris (Meghan), Carl (Jessica), Jodi (Georg), Matthew, Allan, Anthony (Kristina), Gregory (Nadia), Kayla (Derrick), Jennifer (Josh), Laura and Amy; his siblings, Peter Heinrichs, Jacob Heinrichs, Tina Pries (Gerhard) and Gerhard Heinrichs; and his siblings-in-law, Heinz Warkentin, Gerhard Pries (Tina), Nettie Pries and Anna Kampen. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
