He is survived by: his children, Peter, Karin Potratz (Mike), Viola Giesbrecht (Rod) and Armin (Joy); his son-in-law Robert Brown (Joyce); his brother Fritz (Dagmar); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Ulrich and Siegfried Skusa (Germany). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cropo Funeral Chapel (Transcona) (1800 Day St, Winnipeg, MB R2C 1E8). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
