She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Pidkowich and Katherine Pidkowich (Kachur); her husband Walter Tkachyk; her grandson Keith; her siblings, Anne, Stephania, Mary (John), Dr. Peter Pidkowich (Mary) and Steve Pidkowich (Irene); her half-brother David Pidwich; her nephew Allen Kachur; and her siblings-in-law, Victoria, Tony Tkachyk (Mary), Roman Tkachyk (Nelda), Matt Tkachyk, Steve Tkachyk and Marthas Sontag.
She is survived by: her children, Brian, Brenda (Jerry), Cathy (Gary) and Janice (Rob); and her siblings-in-law, Doris, Pat Thachyk and Adam Sontag. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church (390 Marion St, Winnipeg, MB R2H0V5).
