With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hendrika Elizabeth (Verbong) Smedts (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on September 24, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelmus and Gertruda; her husband Jacobus Theodorus; and her son Hendrickes. She is survived by: her children, Hubert (Connie), Bill, Cobie (Gerhard), Mary (Alan) and Bruce (Mark); her grandchildren, Craig (Kristen), Kaija (Cody), Brendan (Andrea), Janessa and Hannah; and her great grandchildren, Anderson, Etta, Margot, Eli, Carter, Kaisley and Skylar.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg would be greatly appreciated.
