He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Bially and Margret Bially; and his brothers, Nestor, Frank, Harry and Jackie.

He is survived by: his sisters, Molly and Ann; his wife Helen; his sisters, Polly, Rose (John) and Bernice (Terry); his children, Jim (Teresa) and Cheryl (Everett); his grandchildren, David (Jenna), Kayla (Evan), Danielle (Brandt) and Lindsey (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Emily and Henry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
