He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie; his parents, Wilfred Simard and Matilda Simard; his siblings, Gabriel, Elmer, Auriella, Katherine and Elsie; and his daughter-in-law Barbara.
He is survived by: his children, Vern, Lillian, Joyce, Leon (Natasha), Marge (Jason) and Bernard. He is also survived by numerous Grandchildren and Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his brothers and sisters.
