He was predeceased by: his daughter Waldtraud. He is survived by: his sons, Werner (Brenda) and Wilfried (Lisa); his wife Wera; his son-in-law Dennis Guenther; and his grandchildren, Caroline Smith (Bob), Tom (Michelle), Adam (Amber), Kali Braun (Mike), Ashley Tavares (John), Brandon Irwin, Matthew (Jasmine), Layla Guenther (Thomas) and Alex (Izabela).
