He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Edwin and May Pearl Skene; his wife Jean; and his siblings, Evelyn Rutley, Eleanor Hamilton, Betty Waldack and Cecil.
He is survived by: his children, Bert Jr. and Heather Dickson (Jim); his grandchildren, Regan Nerbas (Clint) of Okotoks and Tyler Dickson (Sara) of Winnipeg; and his great grandchildren, Ruby, Drew Nerbas, Kinley and Emersyn Dickson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
