He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Rattai and Ernestina Rattai; and his wife Jeanette. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Spiers (Gordon) and Edwin Rattai (Linda); and his grandchildren, Colleen (Roger), Kristen (Jonny), Erin (Chris), Lisa (Rob), Kylie (Kevin) and Andrea. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bardal Funeral Home (843 Sherbrook St, Winnipeg, MB R3A1M6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens (455 Lagimodiere Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R2J4J4).
