She was predeceased by: her husband John Wiersema; and her parents, Meindert Van and Japke Van (Veen). She is survived by: her brother Klaas; her children, Sandra (Mark), Linda (Moe), Jeff (Rhonda), David and Tanya (Wes); and her siblings, Hinke, Jikke and Rudy. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Transcona Christian Reformed Church (131 Victoria Ave W, Winnipeg, MB R2C1S6).
