She was predeceased by: her husband Steven Omeniuk; her parents, Thomas Praznik and Rose Praznik; her sister Joan Karakuc; and her brother-in-law Raymond Karakuc.
She is survived by: her brother Bernie; her sister-in-law Margie Praznik; her daughters, Charlotte Fedorkiw (John), Debra Pitman (Ross) and Diane Simpson (Steven); her grandchildren, Matthew Fedorkiw (Karen Kabel), Stephanie (Fedorkiw), Bessant (Devin), Colin Pitman (Amy), Ian Pitman (Ashleigh Mercredi), Sarah (Simpson), Thompson (Michael) and Keith Simpson (Amanda Dutchak); and her great grandchildren, Deacon, Maddox Bessant, Lorelai, Maxwell Pitman, Claire and James Pitman.
