Irene left this world on March 13, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aime Pepin and Marie-Ange Longtin; and her siblings, Adelard, Lionel, Albert Pepin, Ross, Edward, Dennis Sabovitch, Beatrice Hurrell, Rita Seidel, Denise Evans, June Abraham and Denise Sabovitch.

She is survived by: her sisters, Adele Pepin and Edna Coe; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Pepin, Shirley Sabovitch and Mary Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
