Iris Matsalla Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Matsalla in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Iris Matsalla to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Metro Chocorlan and Annie Chocorlan (Derkach); her husband Tony Matsalla; her siblings, Mike and Bella Stetch; her nephew Danny Stetch; and her daughter-in-law Leanne Matsalla.

She is survived by: her children, Mavis Lutz (Susan), April, Rick Stadnek, Cheryl (Cary), Douglas Matsalla (Lisa), Elizabeth and Steve Schmidt (Bennet); and her sister-in-law Sylvia Chocorlan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to STARS Air Ambulance or to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #77 as gifts of remembrance.
