He was predeceased by: his parents, Pieter VanderHooft and Margaretha VanderHooft; his siblings, John, Peter, Abe, Margaret, Richard, Laura and Len; and his family, Paul, Tim, Lisa and Stephanie.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Paul (Kelly), Tim (Jessie), Lisa (Lyle) and Stephanie (Luke); his grandchildren, Brayden, Hannah, Michael (Leanna), Keegan, Kaelynn, Amy, Jenny, Levi, Mason and Madelyn; his siblings, Hank and Ria Golightly (Ross); and his sisters-in-law, Lena Vanderhooft and Carol Vanderhooft.
