“I am heartbroken. I met Jackie at Taking Charge! when she hired me as their part-time contract Finance Manager in 2006. After she retired, we kept in touch, meeting often for lunch and talking on the phone. She felt strongly about making her community a better place; a bond we share. Being good listeners, we helped each other through some very tough times. While I have other friends, I can honestly say that Jackie had, and will always have, a very special place in my heart.”
