He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacques Louis Masserey and Marie Olga Calame; his daughter Michelle Masserey (Patricia Masserey); and his siblings, Marcelle Masserey, Pierette Marion, Chris Bonin, Odette Guyot and Roger Masserey.

He is survived by: his children, James Masserey (Jamie) and Aline Saywell (Ken); his grandson Tyler Saywell; and his brother John Masserey (Annette).
