With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacques Prefontaine (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on October 22, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Colette (Isidore); his children, Murielle Bugera, Lynne Péloquin (Gilles) and Gabriel (Inge Tyles); his parents, Antoine and Marguerite (Bélanger); his brother Claude (Maria); his siblings-in-law, Yvette (Paul Boily) and Aurèle Lemoine; his son-in-law Larry Bugera; his grandchildren, Ivan (Sheri), Daniel (Anja), Jacqueline (Bruno), Valerie (Colin), Eric (Clode), Rémi (Natalie), Jenelle (Colton), Sara and Eva; his siblings, Suzanne (Gordon Parks), Madeleine (Roland Gaudry) and André (Rita Gauthier); and his siblings-in-law, Hélène (Robidoux) and Jean-Marc (Julia Sawchuk). He was also cherished by his ten great-grandchildren.
He was very proud of his contribution to seeing it become a Century Farm in 2011.
