She was predeceased by: her mother-in-law Nellie; her father Maurice Gillis; her father-in-law Alec (Donald); her mother Julienne Gillis; her brother Rene Gillis; her sister-in-law Val Gillis; her brother Norman; and her sister-in-law Peggy.

She is survived by: her daughter Debra Bouchard (Ray); her grandson Rori Bouchard (Heather); her son Gary; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Hailey; her son Randy (Laurie); her granddaughter Ashley Garepy (Jay); her daughter Cindy (James Kulas); and her great grandchildren, Van, Cole (Heather), Grace, Harrison and Josephine (Ashley).

A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the First Unitarian Church (603 Wellington Crescent, Winnipeg, MB R3G1C6).
