He was predeceased by: his parents, Jakub Leżyński and Paraskewia Leżyński; his wife Stefania; and his siblings, Jan, Maria, Władysław, Helena and Stefania.

He is survived by: his daughters, Marta Pecuch (Bogdan) and Krystyna Koczanski (Roman); his grandchildren, Ola Paulic (Antony) and Peter Koczanski; and his great grandchildren, Ilija and Jakov Paulic.
