He was predeceased by: his parents, William Korchak and Paraska Korchak; his brother John (Mary Korchak); his parents-in-law, Mike and Helen Bilawchuk; and his siblings-in-law, Harvey Caron, John Bilawchuk and Mary Jaman (Peter).

He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his daughters, Laurie Stewart and Tamara Kochan (Paul); his grandchildren, Merissa, Vanessa Stewart, Andrew and Mathew Kochan; his sister Mary Caron; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Drewniak (Tony), Leona Bilawchuk and Wilmer Bilawchuk (Lynn). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
