She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Burak of Lorette; her siblings, James, Michael, Peter Romaniuk, Joyce Melnychuk, Mary Stupack and Helen Letwinetz; and her parents, Dmytro Romaniuk and Anna Romaniuk.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Huys and Robert Burak (Irene); her granddaughters, Kayla (Nolan) and Kacey; and her brother-in-law Peter Burak. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery (1 Green Acres Ln, Navin, MB R5T0H2). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Green Acres Cemetery (1 Green Acres Ln, Navin, MB R5T0H2). A reception will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery (1 Green Acres Ln, Navin, MB R5T0H2).
