Jeanette Lynn Hammond Obituary

After fighting a long courageous battle with cancer, we sadly announce the passing of Jeanette Lynn Hammond.

Jeanette was a daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She loved all animals, especially her family’s pets.

She was predeceased by her father, Larry. She is survived by her mother, Betty, sister Laraine (Wayne), brothers Grant (Cindy) and Glenn (Gail); nieces and nephews Chris, Tammy, Lyndsy, Michael, Jessica, Matthew; grands Taylor, Kingston, Chloe, Kole, Lily, Grayson.

Jeanette had a great love for the arts. She was a talented musician, author, playwright, and artist. She had a passion for travel and went on many amazing adventures.

The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit at St Boniface Hospital, in particular Anita, for her care and friendship.

A family service will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
