The memory of Joan LAURIE Impey (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph O'Kapiece and Laura O'Kapiece. She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Mitch (Alyson) and Susan (Doug Kreutzer); her grandchildren, Jillian (Paul), Joel (Bradie), Taylor (Lindy) and Erika; and her great grandchild Heidi.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K1W3).
