She was predeceased by: her husband Don. She is survived by: her children, Daniel and Ruth (Bill); and her grandchildren, Eric (Brooklyn), Sean (Karina) and Kate (Hannah).
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the John Black Memorial United Church (898 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg, MB R2K3T4).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba or to a charity of one's choice.
