Joan Marilyn Ostermann Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Marilyn Ostermann (Winnipeg, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 31, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Joan's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joan has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Thompson and Annie Thompson; and her sister Joyce. She is survived by: her brother Fred (Margaret) of Calgary; her husband Ernie Ostermann; her children, Marshall (Angela) and Alison; and her stepchildren, Michelle (Frank), Barclay and Brad (Bethan). She is also survived by her 11 grand-children.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Charleswood United Church (4820 Roblin Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3R0G6).
