He is survived by: his wife Ilda; his sons, John (Paula) and Carlos (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Tomaz, Melissa, Nicholas and Julius; and his sisters, Rosalina (Abilio), Constança (João) and Conceiçao (Julio). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
