She is survived by: her husband Herbert Makowe; her siblings-in-law, Otto and Waltraut Grieger; her nephews, Michael, Robert (Noreen) and Peter (Leslie); her niece Susie Sanders (Peter); her great-nephews, Tanner and Connor; and her nieces and nephews, Edith Kaminski (Mike), Heidi Phillips (Wilson), Gerhardt Weise and Edwin Weise.
The pandemic did not do any favours for her or Herbert.
