It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edgar Genaille (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ackegan and Olive Genaille; his siblings, Janet Ackegan and Leonard Ackegan; his great-aunt Sylvia Cote; his children, Alvin Cote and Priscilla Cote; his nieces and nephews, Orlando Genaille-Cote, Allan Ackegan and Aretha Bodnarek; and his great grandchild Hunter Guimond.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Alice Tucker; his sister-in-law Eileen Guimond (Mike); his friend Sheldon Harper; Louisa Bernadette Guimond (Scott), Sonya Beaulieu "Donald", Shawn Guimond (Tina), Selena Guimond (Shawn), Sabrina Guimond, Sara Guimond and John Joseph Guimond Jr. (Irene). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
