He is survived by: his wife Helena; his brother Jacob (Anna); his daughters, Herta (late Jasch) and Ingrid (Ervin); and his grandchildren, Juergen (Susanne), Amali (David), Heidi (Blake), Bianka (Robby), Michael and Daniel (Meagan). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of John, to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive; Winnipeg, MB, R3T 5K9.
