He was predeceased by: his son Lennie-Dennis; his parents, Robert Thompson and Evelyn Thompson; his brother David Thompson (Vera); his brother-in-law Tony Cummings; his nephew George Cummings; and his grandparents, Herbert, Jenny Hutton and George Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Reverend Elenor Thompson; his sons, Victor Grieves, John (Freyja) and Joshua Thompson (Jocelyn); his grandchildren, Kahyanehwo, Aria, Brynja Thompson, Kaylee Wood, Evelyn, Minnow (Tomena) and Joshua Thompson Jr.; his daughters, Betsy Lynn Crane (Myles) and Vanessa Grieves; and his siblings, Reverend Jim Thompson (Louise) and Jean Cummings. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, colleagues, friends.
A wake was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Eternal Grace Funerals. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at the Memorial High School.
