He was predeceased by: his parents, Avelino and Adilia; his sister Isaura; his brother-in-law Carlos Castro; his brother Antonio; his sister-in-law Maria Odete; and his niece Maria Cristina.
He is survived by: his daughter Isabell Demorais Oliveira; his son-in-law Paulo; his grandchildren, Samantha, Mathew and Victoria; his godson Joe Demorais; and his nieces and nephews, Maria Do Carmo (Gabriel) of Ontario, Julia (Amancio) of New Jersey, Abundancio and Manuel (Helen) of Portugal. He is also survived by numerous relatives and extended family.
