He is survived by : his wife Eduarda; his son Nelson (Paula); his granddaughters, Adriana and Alicia; his brother Joao; his niece Carminda (Ze Manuel); his nephew John (Ana); and his sisters-in-law, Odilia, Isabelle (Paulo) and Maria. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
