With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Napoleon Roger Godard (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on November 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joseph shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joseph farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Annette; his parents, Alphonse Godard and Annette Godard; and his sisters, Olive and Armande.
He is survived by: his wife Laurette; his daughters, Jan, Leah and Sheri (Michael); and his brother Marcel.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southlands Community Church (85 Keslar Rd, Winnipeg, MB R3T6A5).
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Roger's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Tin for the Critter Bin or a charity of one's choice.
