It is with sadness that the passing of Joyce Pearl (Laurie) Alexander (Winnipeg, Manitoba) is shared. Joyce, born on August 17, 1935, passed away on June 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isabella Laurie and Percy Dobson Laurie; and her siblings, James Laurie, Violet Laurie Stropes, Ruth Laurie Dugard Mercer, Raymond Laurie Dugard, Doreen Laurie Dew, Ethel Laurie Goddard, Bill Laurie, Ron and Marg Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Alexander Zwicker (Terry) of Calgary, Arden Alexander (Ron Pidskalny) of Edmonton and Bill Alexander (Elaine) of Stonewall; her grandchildren, Jennifer Zwicker (Ethan MacDonald) of Calgary and John Zwicker (Julie) of Edmonton; her great grandchildren, William Alexander MacDonald, Eric MacDonald, Amelia Zwicker and Benjamin Zwicker; her sister-in-law Marion Laurie of Sooke, B. C; her close friend Bev Beckwith; and her husband Bill. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
