She was predeceased by: her parents, Stefan Kitasz and Maria Szafran; her husband Hryhorij Hruden (Harry); her brothers, Ivan (Sofia), George (Yurij) and Michael (Yaroslava Demko); her brother-in-law Michael Hruden; her nieces, Maria Furdyk (Kitasz) and Tina Nikitas (Kitasz); and her nephew Wolodymyr Alexander Kitash (Wally).
She is survived by: her brother Yurko; her son Wolodymyr Oleksander; her niece Nadia Zeleniuk; her son Steve Hruden; her nieces and nephews, Ron Hruden, Maryka, Johny Hruden, Zena Szustakowski, Mirek Kitasz, Ollia Zirka Star Eagle, Lesia, Al Jensen, Jeff Kozak (Aidan), Taras Kitasz and Ruslan Zeleniuk; and her sisters-in-law, Sofia and Yaroslava.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of All Saints (1500 Day St, Winnipeg, MB R2C1E4).
