It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine (Wiens) Quiring (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Wiens and Maria Wiens; her son Roland; her granddaughters, Katherine and Annette Bonneteau; and her siblings-in-law, Robyn Hull and Ruth Wiens.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Alvin Quiring (Kitty Leong), Hedy Paslawski (Ron), Del Quiring (Shereen Farrell), Frances Giesbrecht and Walter Quiring; and her siblings, Marie Hull, Margaret Heppner (John), John Wiens (Cheryl) and Ann Wiens. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Due to COVID-19, there will be a private family burial at Green Acres, followed by a Celebration of Life at a later date.
