Katie Winter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Winter (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Winter; her parents, Martin Bergen and Sara Abrams; her stepfather Peter Braun; and her brothers, Martin Bergen and George Braun.

She is survived by: her sons, Frank (Roma) and Victor (Brenda); her grandchildren, Thomas (Brooke), Reid (Julie), Brittney (McClay) and Keaton (Stephanie); her great grandchild Sophia Kay; her siblings, Frieda and Bernie (Monica); and her sisters-in-law, Helen, Tina and Marilyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
