He was predeceased by: his son Gerry; his parents, George and Chris; and his brother Lorne. He is survived by: his wife Dean Britton; his sons, Randy (Angela) and Calvin (Tracey); the parent of his children Lil; his children, Michael (Jo-Anne) and Maureen; his grandchildren, Mike, Mitchell (Jenn), Marcus, Hilary (Ian), Grace (Josh), Solomon, Kiefer and Elizabeth; and his great grandchildren, Madeline, Owen and Emmett.

If friends so desire, donations can be made to the Friends of the Assiniboine Forest (through Charleswood Rotary Club), the Charleswood Historical Society, or a charity of choice.
