He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Burdyny; his parents, Dan Burdyny and Mae Burdyny; and his sister Dorothy Burdyny. He is survived by: his stepchildren, David Filby (Kim) and Lisa Filby (Stuart) of Winnipeg; his sisters, Donna Brown (Terry) of Kelowna, B. C. and Mary Truttman of Sidney, B. C.; and also Shannon Yelland of Las Vegas, NV.. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
