He was predeceased by: his daughter Joanna; his sister Georgina Sorokowski; and his parents, Peter Philipchuk and Sophie Philipchuk. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Travis and Melissa (Scott); his grandsons, Dylan, Ethan and Zack; his sisters, Arlene (Glen) and Val (Tommy); and his brother-in-law Albert Sorokowski.
In lieu of flowers, Ken asks that donations be made to the Stonewall Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the Wheels of Hope (Health Sciences Centre Cancer Volunteer Driver Program).
