He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane Ranson (Foster) and William Ranson; his brother Lorne; his stepfather Reg Jardine; and his daughter Donna (Ruth).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Carolyn (Bill), Brenda (Bill) and Ken Jr.; his brothers, Ross and Glen; his granddaughters, Jacqueline (Brett), Kathleen (Kirill) and Christine; and his great grandchildren, Ivan, Alice, Viktor and Betty.
Ken was also a member of the Millenium Masonic Lodge 182 for over 57 years, and donated over 100 wheelchairs to the Grace Hospital, St Amant and Deer Lodge Centres.
