He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Rankine and Inez Geneva Trueman; his former wife Barbara Lowther; and his brother David. He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth (Marie-Claude) of Montreal and Peter (Tripta) of Toronto; his siblings, Donald Trueman (Deanna) of Winnipeg and Martha Kennedy of Lethbridge, Alberta.; his granddaughter Maya Safia Trueman of Toronto; his siblings, Walter, Susan Trueman of British Columbia, Catherine Trueman of British Columbia, Lisa, Jeff Kennedy of Lethbridge and Ted Kennedy of Chestermere, Alberta.; his brother-in-law Rick (Billie) of White Rock; his cousins, Arthur Johnson Jr. (Denise) of Fargo, Gary Johnson (Terri) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Kathy Rudd (Lannie Jackson) of Lantana, Texas and Teresa Faber (Brad) of Carbondale, Colorado.; his brother-in-law Edward Kennedy; Isabel J. Warwick of Chatham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bob would go on to design the award-winning clubhouse at the award-winning Kananaskis Country Golf Course at the base of the Rocky Mountains; a plaque commemorating Bob's contribution to the design aesthetic of the clubhouse that recognized the history and opulence of Alberta's Kananaskis Valley can be found near the building entrance.
